No one liked it so far. But that’s just an anecdote and my sample maybe doesn’t represent the mainland Chinese market well. |

The 7 series has been a absolute pile of junk abortion for almost 20 years.....
Hey, let's pay 80-100k for a car that will cost us 8-15k once the 4yr/50k warranty is up. Coolant tube leaks, valve seals leak and it burns quarts (plural) in 500 miles. As painful as it is for me to say this..... buy a freaking Lexus......

Worst part about this new 7 is the flat bottom steering wheel. What set BMW apart from the competition up until now was that they were driver-oriented machines. When Audi and MB were using gimmicks like flat bottom steering wheels to sell cars, BMW stayed true and gave us a round interface to controlling the vehicle. Now, they too have given in to this utter bullshit. Would not buy because of the steering wheel alone.

Man, that new 7 series is UGLY and I even like the huge grill stuff Audi is doing!
IMHO, BMW has been getting uglier and softer since 2004. The 4th gen was the last decent looking 3 series and they have all kinda followed the se.path is hideous. |

BMW is dead to me... between the ugly and the loss of manuals in almost all their vehicles as well as suspensions that Cadillac now surpasses when it goes sporty and even get ragged on by even the previously kinda boaty M-B line, they are only a lingering figment of '80s yuppiedom for the aspirational social climber, not the driving enthusiast.
