I need someone who knows about cars and how to maximize it's performance.

I want more speed and Hp out of my ecoboost 4 turbo.

I need specific brands and parts . Cost numbers are appreciated and sites to buy them from.

I am willing to put a bigger Turbo or whatever I need.

I would like at least 400 hp or better.

**UPDATE**

OK. You guys are great, thx for all the suggestions.

I have about 3-4k to spend.

So w/o having to change so much how about 350-370 hp?

Will this be better on the engine.

Sleeper is kinda what I had in mind!!

ZFG Racing LLC Tuning immediately after you install the following in order: CVFAB Intercooler, Thermal R&D Catback exhaust & CVFAB Downpipes. After that work on Michelin or Continental tires, 350R upgraded brakes, and then better suspension components like Steeda, Roush, etc.

My son looked into this.  He has a 5.0 Mustang and a friend has an Ecoboost.

The Easy Button is to get a 5.0.

Upgraded turbo (Turbonetics)Larger intercooler
High-flow downpipe
Exhaust
Custom tune
93 octane

You're looking at $5,000 in parts minimum and then you have an engine and transmission that are one mis-step away from scrap.

Please explain. I've put 30,000 miles on the car in my avatar on the cobb stage 3 tune and haven't had an issue. The whole point of the tune is to set parameters that are safe. Unless you write a tune that is way out of whack you should have no issues.

Op wants 400+ hp. That's easily attainable with a big turbo and fuel.

You highlighted the explanation yourself.

Good fuel, safe tune, yeah: 400 is attainable and drivable. It's when people get greedy and/or don't stay on top of maintenance that problems arise. One mis-step.

It's similar to my Kawasaki ZH2 motorcycle.  200 horsepower stock. An exhaust, air filter and a safe ECU tune will get you 240 horsepower to the wheel.  People get greedy and start doing more aggressive tunes and spinning the supercharger up more and the stock internals aren't up to it.

There's videos from tuners bragging about 300 horsepower for my bike.  The guy that is doing my tune says, yeah, he could get a lot more power out of it but it won't last.

I guess the "one mis-step" part is what got me. In today's world it really takes a intentional screwup to damage a motor. There's enough info out there and enough people are playing with things that all the info is out there to safely tune almost anything. And OP is looking to get to a VERY safe number regarding the mustang ecoboost.

Ford used to sell an SCT tuner that would not void the warranty and added 35HP but required premium fuel
