So, I'm 50 years old and from the neck down look better than I have ever looked. I've shown photos in the past and I will not do that today...lol. You will have to take my word for it that I look even better than the last time you saw me shirtless LOL. I'm still working out at home with just me and the wife in our home gym. Teen age daughter is starting to get involved a little bit with the wife during her workouts. We have free weights barbells, dumbbells, bench with leg station and squat rack. We also have a heavy bag, speed bag, eliptical, and jump ropes for cardio. I think my goals for 2025 is to keep lifting heavy like I always have but to get into better cardio shape. I also haven't been to a DR. in something like 10+ years so I may actually have to find a doctor and get my blood work done. Might even consider getting on the TRT this next year for the first time after I do some more research and talk to a doctor. What are your fitness goals for 2025? |

1. Avoid injury. That knee tweak this year held me back for months. 2. Move down to the 88kg class, (then decide to go full shredder mode down to 79kg, which, with my sophisticated maths, would put me around 5% BF, and give up after a week and half, )

| Just turned 48. Been lifting regularly for about 18 months now and that won’t change. I rarely do “resolutions” but I’m going dry January, adding in more cardio and going back to Dr after way too long just like you. Just need to get my wife and daughter on board with cleaning up the eating and I’ll be golden. Way too much pasta and crappy processed boxed dinners. They hate fish (I love it), they hate veggies (I love them), they only tolerate boring chicken breast (I love thighs but will concede). My goal is to be that “fit 50 year old” and I’ve got 2 years to do it! |

My fitness goal is to STOP lifting heavy and do more cardio and range of motion stuff. I've been saying this for about 6 months now, but I just truly enjoy lifting. Hit 190lbs last week, and that's it. Have already started the changeover this week to get a head start going into the new year. Want to get back down to 175-180, and honestly can probably do so with minimal loss of strength. We'll see; last year I had the same plan when I hit 180.... ![]() |

My goal is the same as every other year. Stay healthy and feeling good. Maintain leanness (Always want to keep visible abs). Increase muscle mass. Over the past couple of years I've put a reasonable amount of mass on. I think in 2025 I want another inch onto my delts, calves, bi's, tri's and forearms. If my back/chest/legs remain the same I'm good with that. So the plan is reduce volume on my three biggest muscle groups to maintenance and to prioritize smaller/accessory movements. I don't necessarily care about increasing strength on any lifts. I just want to look good and feel good. |

| I'm shooting to get into the 1000 mile run club for 2025. I got a late start in 2024 and didn't get close. |

This coming year I'm going to keep up my weight training (StrongLifts 5x5, with a couple accessory ab workouts), looking to build as much strength and muscle as I can without adding much weight. Yes, I know this places limitations on the strength part, but I'm primarily a runner and that's very much a strength:weight ratio game. My biggest goals will be to PR every single distance I can race from the mile to the marathon. I'm looking at a fall marathon for a full send, "this is going to be my lifetime PR" type of effort, though I do think I still have improvements left there in later years. |
Fear not the weapon, but rather the hand which wields it.
| I’m 52 and my two youngest, both in high school, got me back into the fitness game. Three days in the gym, two days at home with the Katalyst. What’s funny is a 20 min EMS session, depending on difficulty, will absolutely wreck me. With all the options out there, there’s really no excuse to be a spud. |

Lose 15 lbs Heavy focus on cardio, which can also be done in the way you lift weights More supersets, endurance rather than max weight Focus on triceps, which aren't on the same level as my biceps Focus on legs More focus on REAL stretching before and after Bring back CHIN UPS!! No assist..... Start hammering the heavy bag again, arms and legs |

Turned 62 at the beginning of this month (February). Overweight by quite a bit. The goal? 30 pounds by May 1. How its going? 8 lbs in the past two weeks. It's actually getting easier to eat less. Giving up the crap and snacks was relatively easy. Eating less good food can be difficult. |

I’ll turn 44 this summer. 5’ 7”, 150# Aesthetic goal: Achieve visible abs without the use of gym selfie downlighting. I’m really close to this one but they only show under perfect lighting. I’ve been in good shape, and strong, for my whole life but I’ve never quite achieved the 6-pack benchmark. Strength goals: 1x bodyweight strict OHP (150#) 1.5x bench (225#) 2x back squat (300#) 2.5x deadlift (375#) Two years ago I achieved all of these except the squat. I did it but I didn’t quite break parallel so I don’t count it. I know I’m currently above those numbers on bench and DL. I haven’t tried OHP lately and I know my squat is still lacking. Secondary goal: The classic 1-2-3-4 plate benchmark of the same exercises. I can already surpass this with OHP and bench. I’m really close on DL but squat is gonna take some big work. Squat is where I’m relatively weakest on the big lifts. |

Body fat 7.9% Treadmill 13:52 Bench 225lbs Leg Press 350lbs Sit and Reach 22” I needed to do 14:29 on the treadmill to max it out for my age (46). Overall, I’m pretty happy. |

They include, split squats, goblet squats, racked lunges, swings, gorilla rows, snatchers and thrusters, push presses, plank rows, cleans and halos depending on the workout. I also do dips, push ups and pull ups . |
