So the situation is that my wife’s aunt passed away about a year ago, and her uncle a few months ago. They had three dogs. The dogs have not found new homes yet, and are staying in an empty house with my in laws and the neighbors making sure they have food and water, and taking them out 2x a day. Part of the problem is the dogs are not young. I don’t think my mother in law who is in charge of the estate is being effective in finding them homes. I can’t take one. Wife and I have 4 dogs, and town says we can’t have more. My in laws are both retired, and I have not asked them yet, but they may be willing to drop a dog off to a good home. Several people have posted that they are bonded, and should be kept together, while I would normally agree, it has been almost 3 months. Anything right now is better than staying in an empty house. All were heart worm negative as of Brian’s passing, and all have vet records available. Pretty sure they were up to date on shots. Left to right.
