About a week ago I was walking the dog. Couple of teenage boys were getting kicked out of the community pool area for being unsupervised, causing issues, being rowdy, etc. The property manager was a white woman. They were black.
All three were pretty aggressive arguing with her. I stopped to watch cause I figured there was a medium chance she was going to get hit. After a bit they gave up and stormed out. As they passed by, they were saying “Black lives matter” along with the expected “fuck this bitch” type stuff  ...there were plenty of other black people at the pool, of course. |

I’ve noticed with folks I know who have adopted (Russian, Central American, etc. kids), that unless they get them very, very young, the kids are already imprinted by all the bad things they’ve encountered and/or the good things they’ve not encountered (loving, nurturing, protection, etc.). And that’s not factoring in drug and/or alcohol abuse by the birth mothers. In the end, more often than not, it seems like they just cause heartache for the families, and as it seems in OP’s case, for the community. This kid is already breaking into cars at 10, I bet by 14 he finds a gun in a car or house and carjacks someone. Sad, but it would have been better for all parties if they had left him in the ‘hood and let nature take its course. |
