She got a CT scan yesterday and all of her tests came back normal so she must have just eaten something bad or strained something. The old (cheap) one must have been progressively declining but I didn't really notice until it started having startup issues. After the fact some cells weren't even on at all. It is a pretty deep tank so even when new I couldn't get red plants to establish, which are my favorites. Quite a contrast in intensity with the new one light. I think I'll have a lot more options for plants now. Does the light have a positive effect on the fish as well? Kind of a fun area to think about, light penetration, spectrums and the like. |

View Quote You filthy fucking tease. I gave a conecuh that I picked up in Florida to the SIL who's house burned down. Which is interesting...it's not a house, it is a second story condo and the damage was fairly isolated to the ceiling in the bathroom and was caught early enough that she got the FD there in short order. Sounds like it was a slow burn too. Fire guys on review said it could have been smoldering for years. Apparently there was a brief period in the early 70s when copper was in short supply and aluminum was used in electrical wires. I had never heard that. But apparently it is not the greatest. And her building has it. So now the condo is facing a bigger issue of the fire guys and the insurer possibly pushing to have wiring changed. For all units. Anywho, she is staying with her parents and she cooked up the sausage with her dad. Said it was the best sausage she ever had. Which hurt a little, not gonna lie. this is the same one that has spoiled me with bourbon from her travels and is always there for us. So what could I do? What I had to do of course. I ordered the 12 pound variety pack for her. And since I had to pay their rapey prices and rapey shipping, figured I would add some in for myself. Interestingly the increase in shipping for the first 3 12lb increments is smaller than the jump for the 4th 12 lb increment. Must require a second box? So sausage incoming. Not as good as Snowdens or Kelley I am told, but it will do I guess. |

I've had Hilltop before but they just started packaging it for sale in stores. Used to have to go to their market and get it. Not sure if it's the same. It was always quite a bit smokier. |

Wife and I went to a new place for date night...https://asadordelsur.com/
Never had a Sauvignon Gris before....it was good. I've never been a fan of Chilean wines, but we both liked it and will be looking for it elsewhere. Dinner was fantastic....I had the skirt steak...Wife had shredded pork with rice and beans and a side of maduros, (fried sweet plantains). |

Just a kind of cool story, not that I think it'll get better or anything. If I open the cardboard tube that the bottle came in, I can smell it and it smells awesome. Lol |
