It's the only time I've seen one for sale so I honestly don't know what the going rate is, if there is one. This one was more than a CRK but less than a Grimsmo, so seemed reasonable.

The midtechs on the outside are very reasonable in price. Around ZT range. The bottom one is the one I had already; I bought the top one and the custom together to a) negotiate a discount, and b) see if anyone here wanted it, because they're cool and I don't see them for sale very often. Actually, unless I'm forgetting, I've bought every one I've seen pop up since I became aware of them, and they're all in that picture.

Custom Bones tend to go for $1000+. At one point few years ago I saw simpler ones go for closer to $900. With Zirc or other fancy materials, or custom engraving, they can jump up pretty fast in price.

But of course it is all about finding the right audience. Those prices were observed in the Park FB group where it is all Park fans. I could see them going for less outside the group potentially, but I don't think I have seen any Park customs for sale outside the FB group. Maybe one.

My mother in law never cooked a day in her life. Ever. Neither did her mother or grandmother. It was always a maid doing the cooking. She has no concept of cooking. But when she visits, she likes to pretend like she’s a helpful person so she “cooks”. It usually ends up as some horridly burned steak with onions that are black and nasty. If I’m lucky she won’t put too much salt in the rice or the beans. And if I’m really lucky, she’ll remember to add salt to the onion, tomato, pepper, mozzarella salad. That’s all she “knows” how to cook. It’s bad. Really bad.

But that slop on your plate seems worse. We can pitch in and get your wife some cookbooks. Seriously. Not meant to be edgy but if that’s what happens when you’re out, then you (she) might need some help.

She's actually a very decent cook. I mean, not to Mrs. Scream's level, but above average. But she's into hippy stuff to a small degree (not politically thank God, just stereotypical woman shit like herbs and oils) and sometimes things like this happen.

Correction. She also tried cooking some egg soufflé tyoe thing. Why would I remember? Because I ate eggshells and it eggs for me now. Thinking of eggs immediately brings back memories of huge chunks of eggshells crunching in my mouth when the food should be soft crunchless.

The scales are really unique. I can't tell if it's a finish/ano of some kind or if they're timascus; if they are it's not like any I've seen before (though I have never paid that much attention because I'm generally not a big timascus fan other than for accent pieces).
