Seriously no offers? I hope you can get it sold.

Before moving out here we visited a few times and looked at some houses but decided to build instead. The majority of those homes are still up for sale and have had some very substantial price drops. Although one place didn’t get the memo and increased their price by 2 million…

I'd never had it before. It's actually pretty good. She did a low(ish) sugar version using some kind of special pectin for low sugar recipes. It has a very mild honey flavor.

The pretty curtains seem out of place. But that is one organized garage. I won't be posting any pics of mine after seeing that!

Our agent called this morning and asked about average utility costs and said she had been back and forth with two agents and it sounds like we might be getting one or two offers today.

I'm hoping that prices cool off a little bit in the coming months based on some of the discussions that are happening in the other thread but I think we'll do ok as long as prices don't continue upward too much.   At this point I'm just looking forward to being on the other side of the house sale thing wether we stay or go. A road trip to some new places and several weeks of not having to be on someone else's schedule sounds perfect right now though.

Lunch dessert pic to keep it relevant:

Still have some work to do both on the blade (duracoating) and the handles (cotton buffing and then polishing with superglue, which will darken the colors), but here it is mocked up.

After you sent the VECP I was casually looking for another 0920. I know how it will end though for me. As much as I like the Harpy design, whatever I pick up will not be as nice as the one I had and that one didn't stick around because of the recurve blade.

How's the action?

The action is terrific. It has the common (in my experience) ZT issue of the detent hitting the blade tang. I might try grinding my own detent ramp into it. I'm also considering a BGM regrind on it to thin it out. I think the recurve might not be so severe as to be an issue. Hopefully.

That's part of the plan, providing I don't end up living in a Walmart parking lot between here and there. (I'm scared about the price and availability of diesel in the near term, considering I'll be heavily reliant on it about a month from now if things work out)

Unless prices fall in half or so, my top choice of Idaho is still out of the question.  Top of the heap right now because of politics, prices, taxes and climate is looking like Tennessee.

We're going to go several places though just to explore and relax for a bit.

It's called The OD1. It's pretty neat because the flipper gets hidden in the handle when it's open. It's not cool at the moment because I haven't carried it since I used to carry tip down so the clip is still setup that way.

I had one of those. Shouldn't have sold it. If you decide you have one too many knives for the move, I'd throw you enough to buy a couple gallons of diesel.

also you should reserve judgment until you have spent some time here. we are pretty awesome.
