The kydex sheath is perfectly fit and makes the absolute loudest snap when you place the knife in it. Sounds like an airgun going off. I placed my Gulso in here for scale. They do not transfer lint/funk/fluids from wherever INTO the knife. Those are carefully designed and engineered to allow lint/funk/fluids to pass through harmlessly without contacting the knife. And I'm apparently the only one who isnt interested in attracting a bunch of sailors to my pants, pockets, or night stand. I base that on the number of proudly displayed knives with portholes posted here for what I can only assume is a desperate attempt to attract strange seamen. I have heard talk of those in the emerson circles, maybe seen a few pics, but yes, very hard to find. I do like some of the toor designs. have come close to ordering one or two to check them out. Step up is relative though. Certainly like their "about" page. The fact that 3xpert likes them makes them somewhat questionable I guess. My Commander has tasted my blood. It tried to take off part of my finger when it stealth opened in my pocket. I love the blade design though. Mine has gotten too....I love the blade design and the way it feels in the hand...but I hate sharpening recurves. |
