I already reached out to JABA to see if he is making an offer.

Still waiting for my sticks! It takes forever now for me. How do you like the Flathead? Hadn't had one in a year or so, so dug one out to see if I still liked them before I put my order in. How did they smoke that soon after getting them? I usually let them sit for awhile.

Better than most fresh. Even and smooth. Again not wow, but consistent and easy. Seems like all CAOs are like that. Most of them will be stored, but who can wait on all of them?

FWIW, I tried my first AF Curly Head over the weekend and REALLY liked it. It was a maduro deluxe. Might want to try one of them since you didn't like the naturals.

I don't think I said I didn't like it, it was just a bitch to keep it lit.  Certainly detracted from the experience.

Yes. I've seen them referenced as both. Apparently native to Mexico, but a huge presence in Asia too. Still have to make them. The Chinese squash was good.

Absolutely.

That's one show I wish I'd been able to see, AIC with Layne...

Interestingly enough (to me) their sound hasnt changed much (at all).
Every other band's sound changes when members come and go.
This makes me believe that Layne basically did vocals and Jerry Cantrell was/is the real source of music for the band.
