When we were setting up my wife's new set up it came with a neat little bubble level. It was very sensitive to being slightly off so we checked a few different spots and now it'll play the stuff she digs up from the bargain bin

Whats the easiest way to sharpen Magnacut? My Deka has dulled down and I dont want to booger it up like I did my other knives. Im also horrible at sharpening, so I need something relatively foolproof. Thanks for any help!

A guided system using diamond stones is the most sure way.

I use a lansky system but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in here that does. I have good results though.

Very well, thank you.  My brother grilled everything including an awesome combo of zucchini, red bell peepers and Vidalia onions.  My ribeye was ginormous.  It was seasoned just with sea salt and cracked black pepper and cooked to really rare as I like it.

The Lagavulin was of course sublime.  Smoky, peaty, briny goodness.

I hope yours and everyone else's was enjoyable as well.

Forgot to post that one on Saturday when we were portioning out brisket for the freezer or gifts.

Found a tasty flavor for today's warm up energy drink

Knife got abused cutting targets today. I couldn't be happier with it, and it is slicey as hell with the thinner stock and the large hollow grind.

I got this huge pellet sampler kit way back when I got my gun but never went through them because my standard go to I lucked into (the JSB 15.9 grain) performs really well. Holy shit some of them spread out all over the targets (6" or better) at 25 yards, and the POI was pretty different even among the good ones for my gun. These are all 5 shots at 25 yards (except the one I gave up on that says 3). The Kodiac was the only usable one among the >20gr and was pretty tight. I'll have to shoot more groups to compare the Premier with my JSBs, but they were the winner today (5/16" for the only group I shot), which is sweet because the JSBs are $$$. I thought there would be some smaller differences like with a rifle, but they would all make groups an inch or less.

3/3. I had forgotten how long the last movie was, with the extended 4k version it was 4 hours 15 minutes screen time without credits.

Some big guy mixing jack and coke in his seat (with the soda refills) next to me was bawling at the end of the movie. guy also brought in a hydro flask water bottle filled with some sort of crunchy pub mix. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

Maybe wait to get additional ideas from others to add, such as TRM and Tactile as already mentioned. Also Medford, Olamic, Emerson, and Spartan could be added.

yeah, the mention thing has been all fucky for a long time. sometimes I don't get the mentions, sometimes they come a day or two late, but they always take me to the wrong place.

you would think management would be right on that, but I think they neglect it on purpose just to show us how much they hate us.

The folders, or at least some of them,  have the initial machining outsourced (not specified where any more, but it was Italy at one time apparently), but the assembly and finish work is done by them. So probably not fully made in the US.
