I thought you had one ugly knife, but apparently you have at least 10. hmmm How will she serve you well if she already isn't doing what you wanted? You complained about the price and then bought something that doesn't serve it's essential purpose? What will you do with the rest of your knives that don't fit, use them? View Quote Do you not like her name? Angie is a great name. Her name is and always will be Angie. I have a couple of the box only 1150s. I was worried that the top foam wouldn’t be included but it was. Interestingly it shipped from pelican, not nalpak... Lower foam is definitely useless. I think I’ll use the lower section to store my dolladollabillz. I throw on the gold banana hammock onesie and the money flows. Gotta do something with my cash. The opinion of my knives from a easy cheese eating Wisconsinite is disconcerting and will cause me loss of sleep. Angie is serving me great. She holds what she needs to and has given me the realization that I’ll need a larger case (and if so I’ll have to choose a name for her too) from pelican. I bought some seahorse cases that are larger but haven’t been able to find precut case foam. Doing it myself with a hot wire cutter is probably how I’ll proceed and that will take care of the larger knives. If I were to do this myself then my cut out design is going to be implemented in such a way that there isn’t useless wasted space. Looking at what nalpak designed I can see room for improvement. Additionally it will give me some needed experience before trying to cut the foam on a rifle sized case I have sitting around here. Thanks for asking these excellent thought provoking questions. Angie thanks you as well. |

Don’t know exactly why, but I’ve got a hankering for a front flipper. Never had one and want to try one out.
Anyone have any recommendations? Thinking budget up to $150....it is mostly going to be a toy, so lower might be fine since I don’t really need top end steel, just needs to hold and take an edge decently. Thinking thin “gentleman” type with drop point or kwaiken shape and a blade maybe around 3”ish |

Lot of talk in the PDW community about the flippers on this one. While I am a capitalist and don't give a tut for their whining about not not getting one when the flippers did, a fair point has been raised. To wit: If these are going to sell for twice as much on the secondary right away, perhaps the retailer should be charging more up front. That way a company people want to support gets their money and flippers are less likely to do what they do. |

Maybe. I waste a lot of time on knives already. Regardless of how much I get from it, selling us my least favorite part of the game.
Plus the way Emerson prices things, and with their current shipping costs, you might net nothing or lose. I dunno. I only like to play when I know the outcome. |
