I'm 40 and have had some similar experiences. My greatest joy now is settling down and having a family. I couldn't imagine going back to that lifestyle and never look back.

Your conclusion is off target-- your wallet is setting you apart from other men, not your effort. Women arent stupid when it comes how deep your pockets appear to go and your travel is a huge indicator of that. Im not even saying thats a bad thing if your goal is to be a passport bro, just your effort is very obviously backed by money for anybody who cares to notice... that being any quasi single woman ive ever met. |

You are not entirely wrong. But something I have heard time and time again from these women is that they always say they are impressed by how much of an effort I make. I'm based in France part of the time so some of them are not far at all. The flowers do the same thing, men in their 20s don't know you're supposed to show up with them. The same goes for wearing a sports jacket to dinner. Dudes now just want to go 50/50 on a coffee date they show up to in their normal clothes then expect to smash. That's not what women want but it's what they've come to expect. |

Based on what he said, he probably shouldn’t. Not everyone has their ship come in with a Trad Wife and not everyone manages their marriage well enough to keep it.
