So AI created some building concepts. Did it do structural testing to verify they buildings could be supported on the ground it was intended to be on? Wind sheer testing? 777 impact testing? And most importantly, having people with the artistic skill to finish them out? If you haven't noticed, modern building techniques and skill are all based on building as quickly and cheaply as possible. |

We don't need futuristic buildings. We need to return to the architecture of centuries past, where craftsmanship was valued and meant something. Their fucking gutter DOWNSPOUTS were hand-carved dragons with the water coming from their mouths. What do we have now? Even the churches being built now are square, strip-mall style structures with steel roofs. When's the last time you saw a fucking gargoyle being installed on a new building?? You don't. No culture at all. No soul. Pathetic. |
