Prosecutors allege that: Three hidden cameras were found in the alleged victim's residence: One disguised as a surge protector One disguised as a wall charger One hidden inside an air purifier The devices were aimed at her bed and captured her undressed and engaging in sexual conduct Evidence shows that Green allegedly: Cropped and zoomed in on explicit images of the alleged victim Screen-recorded explicit footage from the live stream and saved it to his device Prosecutors also cited phone metadata indicating that, in the nine days before Green was discovered, his phone had a streaming app open viewing a live feed from the alleged victim's room for a total of 25 hours. |

People piling in on this without reading the prosecution's side vs. the defense's explanation. 🙄 I have not followed the details of the case, but on the face of it when a decorated career serviceman has already discussed his step-daughter's concerning behavior with her mother and decides to install cameras to monitor what she's doing behind a locked bedroom door while he is deployed, some fathers might give him the benefit of the doubt for a moment and wonder if maybe he was just truly concerned but used poor judgement and not getting his rocks off. FYI - this is sarcasm. |

I've heard its situations like this that keep families suffering in silence to avoid this exact scenario. I also thought at one time there was talk of changing the regulation allowing family members who suffered abuse to keep the benefits even after the servicemembers conviction. Of course, it could also be a strong incentive to lie in a contentious divorce as well. |

There are plenty of ROAD (retired on active duty) chiefs, but I can count on one hand, with a few fingers left over, the number of real ball-cutters I encountered in 25 years of active duty. It's a very different culture from the Army. I worked with enough Army E-9s in the joint base environment, JRIs and deployed to understand where the lines are drawn. |
