Liked his stuff. As a kid I didn’t understand a lot of it but liked it.

That's sad. I remember him, Duckman, and Serigo Aragones. (Sp?)

My dad gave me a pile of MAD magazines from the 50's including the 1st issue that is super rare. None of them are collectible because I read them all of the time and are in OK condition.

I still have them too.

I have my uncles collection from the 60s that I read when I was over at my grandparents house when I was a small boy in the 70s, It's a stack about 6" high.  I was helping my aunt clean up her house after he died last year and she was going to throw them away,  NO YOU'RE NOT.

Loved Mad magazine as a pre-teen and teenager.  Helped me develop my warped sense of humor that I have today.  RIP to Mr. Jaffee and all those who influenced me at my young life.  I can still hear my Mom when I walked in with a Mad magazine, "I can't believe you wasted your money on that trash!"

They gonna fold him up for burial?

I think Sergio Aragones is the last man standing from the old days.  Dave Berg, Mort Drucker, and Don Martin are long gone.

I subscribed for many years, until they started having advertisers, which started a downward spiral.
My favorite mag of the 60s & 70s and beond.
I have their entire collection (up to a certain point, ~2000) on CDs.
Dave Berg always had a good section, but even way back then had a lot of anti-gun, anti-hunter, anti-rural conservative slant.

I recall watching that in '88, back when 60 Mins seemed somewhat tolerable.
