The day before the election results were "finalized", my gutter cleaner caught the flag with his ladder and broke the holder.
I plan on putting it back up Jan 20, 2025.....God willing. |

I flew it upside down years ago during a thing going on in Waco,, TX.

Quoted: According to the U.S. Flag Code, flying the American flag shouldn't be flown upside down — with the stars at the bottom — "except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property." View Quote We're there, as a nation. How evil does one need to be or how far does one's head have to be buried in the sand to not know we're there? If we have not irreversibly lost this country already, we're teetering on that ledge and it is a disrespectful mockery to what this country was meant to be to fly the flag normally anymore. |

Quoted: Upside down is a distress signal. If I see it that way, I'm calling 911 and they can talk to the police about their "emergency". If it's a real emergency, it's good somebody called. If it's because your feelz was hurt (your party lost an election, criminals you like were arrested, somebody you don't know doesn't want to screw you because they don't like your body parts, etc.), get used to having the conversation until you stop crying wolf and disrespecting the flag over your snowflakeness. I don't find it appropriate to fly the US flag upside down as a political gesture.
Unless you are taking up arms or otherwise taking some action against a real physical emergent threat, and/or requesting assistance for the same, it is only a political gesture. |

I have a Gadsden flag up right now.
IMO, flying the American flag upside down is disrespectful. If it's the time to do that, then why aren't you popping the PMags? Flying the FJB is classless, IMO (even though I agree with the sentiment). |
