No hot link. They tore up a lot of stuff.  Some impressive driving too.  If it's a dupe don't watch it.

I'm guessing it isn't there first rodeo with a stolen auto and sadly will be far from their last.  There is no sense of responsibility amongst teen criminals in urban areas, only regret about getting caught.  However that regret is short lived when they steal their next vehicle.

I almost think if the SUV hadn’t tried for a PIT maneuver so hard at the 3:15 mark the asshats in the stolen car might have hit the spike strip.  Of course he launched him right into a fellow officer.

that's one of those chases that wasn't worth it.  There were so, so many opportunities for someone to get killed

also, when the patrol car went down the construction road and a gravel pile suddenly materialized in front of their hood, I really expected to hear Waylon Jennings.

I wouldn't call any of that good driving.  I'm shocked that Hyundai was still going after the hits near both front axles. I thought the half PIT into the parked cruiser would be the end.

A teen in a stolen Kia causing +$250,000 worth of car accidents.

He's going to spend hours and hours behind bars until he can get released.

I assume it only a matter of time before these pursuits in cities like Columbus are able to be followed with a drone (as SOP).  I assume they already have some of this capability in some cities.

That was pretty wild. Very surprised it lasted that long and didn't end up with more carnage.

Why did the cops stop those future Bubba Wallace NASCAR DEI driver's?

Damn, Hyundai has really upped their reliability from seeing that video. Those teen's did everything but a Duke's of Hazard jump.

Ya, that trip through the construction zone scared me just watching. And I also expected that cop to launch the car into someone's yard

3 different officers cleared the back seat, but:

- took officer 1 way too long; luckily there was no one back there, then

- officer 2 did not even have his service weapon up when he lifted the airbag, oops and

- officer 3 did it right with the carbine muzzle at the ready, but he likely would have perforated one of the perps on the ground if he’d fired (no big loss there though).

No one checked the trunk lol

Yeah... there's a long list of decisions wrong with this one...

Interstate speeds through a residential neighborhood.
Weaving through dense traffic in commercial zones.
Cops almost understeer into a minivan and a firetruck, and another almost t-bones a kid leaving the high school.
Burning through a 1-lane construction site in a residential area with low visibility and workers exposed.

At some point, it's just a bad idea to continue the pursuit.

what i see is a completely unnecessary chase and reckless police department .... they could have killed alot of people with that chase. they easily destroyed 100k in property, probably 10% of the pd vehicles they have are now damaged
for what?
a stolen car charge and eluding?
we all know the kid will be out in 2 hours and they will drop the charges to something lessor...This is a clear example of why cops get a bad rap, poor decision making  skills
Hope they enjoy all the suits the get from it.....

If you don't intervene you end up with more events. Just like those giant illegal bike/quad groups.

for a brief moment I thought the cop that jumped on the trunk of the car was going to execute a flying elbow smash to the perp who had assumed the position on the ground. would have been epic.
