"Phenomena: The Secret History of the U.S. Government's Investigations into Extrasensory Perception and Psychokinesis" by Annie Jacobsen (2017)

If you like her books and have not read this one, please consider it. I suspect many here already know about the DOD/Alphabet "remote viewing" stuff that occurred in the 80s and 90s, but I had no idea there are so many now-unclassified instances of absolute, stunning successes with it. And if ya think it was all "discontinued/closed", think again - it's just called different stuff, so different that no one can even inquire about it via FOIA cause there's no longer a label, or one that lasts.

I've always thought, or for me personally I've always actually known there's a collective consciousness, and we all tap into it differently. Kinda like a flow of water, shallow on the edge, deep out far, and we all either walk beside it, or get our feet wet, or frolic in its waves, or outright swim in it differently. Call it coincidences, synchronicity, whatever, but it's there. If this stuff interests you, please consider reading this book - it's a gem.

I'm honest to God one that's either blessed or cursed with it pretty hard . A long, long time ago I finally accepted it to be "my normal" that folks calling or emailing me are often the very ones I was just thinking about. In Annie's book she writes about how much of it is either latent, sharable, contagious, or even learnable. Is it just "opening the third eye"?.

When I first got married my wife said "that's just crazy talk", until after many years of witnessing it first hand she herself now understands and even engages in it. Now my wife and I are constantly connected - I swear by God we communicate telepathically. Every day we'll voice exactly what the other is thinking. It's our normal. Not a humble brag - again, it's either a blessing or a curse , but this "thing" is there - it's out there, and we are all part of.

I'm next gonna re-read her book on DARPA titled "The Pentagon's Brain: An Uncensored History of DARPA, America's Top-Secret Military Research Agency". I read it once, too quickly, and look forward to really digesting it this time.
