There was one I use to work with who was known to break down and cry if put under stress. |

It’s been about 20-30 years now, at their HQ in Roslyn I dealt with many in leadership who should not have been LEO |

Fridays -- DS vs. Marines in regular basketball games followed by pool parties (civilian invites encouraged, especially if you had +2/3 co-eds...). One game got too rough and someone ran into a poll -- concussion and stitches. Court got closed for like six months after a Deputy Head of Mission made a safety report and it was deemed not up to safety regs. Now, it's probably the nicest "PT" facility in that part of the world. I'm typically against unnecessary spending, but they could have my tax dollars for that! ETA: Pole, not poll. But there might have been some "poll play" elsewhere! I kid, don't cancel me! (An Arfcommer has reached out to my initial query regarding RSOs... Mod feel free to delete if this subforum is only for .mil and I've tainted it as a civilian.) |
