I just noticed this spot last night. I have not seen him chew at it or anything. Is this something I can hit with gentaspray or should I take him to the vet? All the ones around here are doing the stupid covid bullshit where you can't go in with your dog and he freaks out.

Sorry, I'm not going to assert a stolen valor claim and pretend I was taught that at infantry school.

<----- Not a vet.

Oh, you mean vetenarian.

Joking set aside, good luck with the dog.

Ringworm?
Saw a cat that was like that.

<---  Neither a veteran nor a vetenarian.

Hot spot? My dog will chew at his tail when his anal glands are giving him trouble.

Stud tail.

No big deal.

My dog got it in Colorado (dry). No longer has it in Texas (wet).

Well, I just gave him a nice long bath since it's been a while and he's had a couple dips in the lake. I'll keep using the antibacterial spray on it and see if it improves.
