One of our staff got walked out because he went insane ranting around 10:00. I was not there to witness it, but apparently he went full full TDS and lost it bigly. 2 other staff kept their doors closed all day and were sent weeping in the hallways repeatedly.

I guess we are having an HR meeting in the morning about acting professional at work. I might wear a blue suit and red tie tomorrow.

You work with crazy people.

Today was a normal day at work, with everyone just a bit more tired.

LOL

I was hired as an SME almost 20 years ago by a foreign company, they tread very lightly around me when it comes to politics or guns 😎

I woke up to one email from an older British colleague who congratulated me on the election.

Things were  oddly quiet today. Most of my team are based in NC, VA, MD and are left of center to varying degrees. Had a couple of 1:1s with team members. One guy is from Nigeria, and he was over the moon happy because he knows how hard it is to move here legally and the blessings of our country and how he has prospered and his kids are getting a great education.

Our 53 year old fat ugly white Karen admin went home early.  Only libtard I work (more like work around) with.  She's lazy and incompetent and has a kiss up/kick down work ethic.

Doesn't like Trump because he is a womanizer!

All other colleagues are far right, and under 30 years old.

Never saw anybody lose it at work over politics. The closest I saw and one of my most enjoyable moments in my career was in 2016 after Trump won... My boss from Pakistan was a Trump supporter and loved him and voted for him (considering his religion and talks with him, he didn't want a woman president no matter what). He would constantly say "let's make company X great again!". When he said this and wrote in on the project board I felt like I watched my black female coworker absolutely die on the inside. I hated that bitch and had to put up with her and our previous boss who worshiped Obama, it was great to see her have to put up with politics at work when her side wasn't in charge.

That's how I roll at work but my junior high students are starting to not like me.

Seriously though, we only have one leftist teacher that I know of at my school but today was a freaking snow day!  I'm glad.  I was up until 3am but I had a great day today.  I bet that fellow teacher was crying with Whoopi all day.

I did have to walk three others out, but they were dogs and just had to pee.

We had a TDS customer. How much are tariffs going to be on various products, 'we know he's an evil man who is going to destroy the country, don't we?', etc.

I say customer liberally. Never spent a cent with us, never expect her to.

We are nearly 100% work from home. One person got a “knock it off” for an IM in a public (within the organization) channel about the election.

Other than that, nothing.

I stayed up until 1am, got up at 5am and went in.  Majority of co-workers are conservative, so no drama there.  The handful of liberals didn’t say anything about the election, but also didn’t show any emotion either way.  It was really just like any other day I guess.  We’re all lazy federal employees anyway so there’s that.

A friend of mine is a cop at an airport. The Lt in charge of IA posted this, apparently. I believe he’s planning to flag it to HR. Not a fan of the Karen-like reporting, but that dude is showing that he may not be an impartial arbiter if someone’s political views are brought up.

As a manager I didn’t even entertain addressing it with my crew at a mostly liberal company. But I did share some knowing smiles/looks with my guys that are big (quiet) Trump fans.

A woman at work that I don't know that well asked if I voted. When I said that I did, she asked if it went my way. I just smiled and said "That's private."  She put on a bright red flapper hat and gave me two thumbs up. Other than that it was just a normal day at the office. Perhaps the lefties stayed home or kept it to themselves.

We have a team of mass phone dialers that make outbound phone calls to financial advisors. They tend to be 22 - 25 years old, right out of college. The hiring manager is a gay guy so the employees on that team tend to skew very liberal.

4 of the 6 called in sick today, LOL
