Maybe this year I'll make it. I have to be honest I feel like I'm the one who kind of pushed this event to be spawned when the only thing going on at the time was NOVA meets, and I still haven't been to one yet. It's embarrassing. I love Appalachia. Here's hoping. And for those viewing it's more food, booze and fun than rigorous.

I really tried to save a fifth of the whisky I got out of the barrel. It didn't make it. So good. Too tasty. 2 gal distilled water in. Rolled around in the sun for 1.5 months. About 1.5gal out of thick, black, charcoal whisky. Filtered twice through coffee filters. A perfect, light colored, smokey whisky of approx 60 proof, going by taste and ability to intoxicate. Looking forward to another campout. |
