I have been seeing ads on youtube for the Baerskin Tactical hoodie for about a year or so now and it looks cool and comfortable. So I clicked the link and ordered one around the 1st of the month.
I got the charge on my card and confirmation emails immediately from a company named True Swat. I have yet to receive shipping info so I sent them and email and started checking reviews on the company. They get terrible reviews! Most stating they are a scam and don't order from them lol. There are several stating that it is the best product they have ever purchased. And some that say it took months to receive the product. It was only $100 so I'm going to wait it out and see. Just wondering if anyone else here has ordered from them? |

I haven’t seen a fleece yet that stands up to wind to my liking.

There was thread last week or so on this.
Seems like the consensus was that it's Chinese crap. Plus, how tactical do you need your hoodie? |
|
LOL. I've seen those ads. $30 jacket, marked up to $200, 50% off "special" and some slick marketing.
Sorry, you got took even if they overnight the thing to you. |
|
I generally don't buy from companies that brag about "English customer service."

"Tactical" in the name means you can charge three times as much as its non "Tactical" competitors.

A rip-off of the TAD Ranger wrapped in cheesy advertising by a shady company. What could go wrong. No thanks.

Also, cheap chinese garbage. Seriously, go read the other thread. |

If you are gonna spend 100 bucks on a hoodie I'm sure Filson, Orvis, or the much more economical Duluth would be a way better bet.
|
|
OP you deserve to get ripped off for being stupid enough to order that crap

$100 for a Chinese made hoodie? Better deliver that next day air with a hand written apology for the down home rapin.

We have how many established outdoor brands making high end fleece jackets and you go and buy one from some goofy company off a YouTube ad? How did you think that was going to go?
"Tactical" clothes are a joke unless you need something in a Multicam flavor, then find the military side of you favorite outdoor recreation company and buy that. |
|
Hey OP I would like to buy your hoody. Please send your bank account and routing info to me promptly so I can wire over funds.

This is what you seek OP.

Cancel the order. I almost fell for it too until I did some digging.

What makes a hoodie tactical? Does it have Velcro and molle ? Is it endorsed by seals and guntubers?

Quoted: Probably because that’s not what synthetic fleece fabrics were designed to do. Try an old school Marine Corps Polartec fleece pullover under a Supplex nylon shell garment. I have the zip up jackets, they work well for the temps they are designed for. The wife wore hers all the time, probably one of her favorite jackets when there was just a bit of chill in the air. |

Oh man, well, I hope you got in on indestructible shoes, established title, steak knifes from the mountains of Japan, and lifetime guaranteed sunglasses..

Junk product and a bad company. Cancel your order and initiate a charge back

Made in China with an American flag on it? Should be able to pick one up from your local Boot Barn.

i was worried i fell for a similar scam last month. have been freezing my ass off and decided to get a new coat. pulled the trigger on one of the boreal mountain anoraks. next 3 weeks every add on social media i saw was for anoraks and was using some of the boreal guy's pics, but for like $50 when i had just paid a couple hundred. The comments in the ads were awful saying what crap it was.
but mine eventually came and i love it. very warm and well made. |
