Wodstock and I took a trip down to a friend's place in PA to visit for a couple days this past weekend. We get there, and they surprise me with a birthday present. I see the size of the box, and had an idea of what it might be, but it was way more than I was expecting... I really wasn't expecting anything, just some time bashing our current fleet of RC's around. They got me the Rlaarlo XTS F10! It's the base model with the smaller motor, and no carbon. I tell ya, it's a freakin' beast. Loved just driving it around a big empty parking lot, hitting some sand/gravel patches, and enjoying how well this thing drives. The radio is a rebranded DumboRC, with a 6 channel gyro receiver, so I'm considering swapping the receiver out with one of my radiolink ones, and adding it to my RC6GS v2. Nothing wrong with what it came with, but it would mean one less transmitter to carry with me. I've really got sucked back into this hobby. I'm up to 8 cars now. |

Those are nice! Tech sure has changed since I was last in the hobby. Sold all of it off except for the Savage X and The Thunder Tiger buggy. Love the clipped body as opposed to the pin/post attachments and smoking the tires? Baddazz! Torn between converting or just get some nitro going. |

The only piece of info I'm lacking on this, is what the specific functions of the light controller button are. I figured out you have to make changes with the transmitter off, and I was able to set the forward/rev to work correctly. Can't get the hazards to work, tho. |

Rlaarlo's prices are low enough that it probably discourages counterfeits. WLToys is the brand that copies other designs. Some of their cars are passable, some are garbage. |

When I opened this one up, I couldn't find the power button for the ESC... turns out it fell off wherever it was mounted to and was laying near the rear suspension. Ended up sticking it to the front of the 2nd receiver box, which is empty. Good location for it, as you can reach it from under the body. |

Figured out the lights. It's 2 turns to the right. Helps to re-re-re-re-reeeeeeeee-read the manual.  Also the light controller... 1 press for reverse channel 1, and 2 presses to reverse channel 2. It wasn't until I looked at the PDF manual on the computer that I saw those, dunno why I missed it in the paper one. |
