What’s the factory mag capacity on the M4s?

I tossed these back and forth as well, then got the 1301 Comp Pro.

I love my M4 but I still want a 1301 Comp Pro.  I know, no help at all.

I've always wanted a Benelli M4 but honestly the 1301 is making me rethink that.

Benelli. If you end up not liking it, better resale value.

My M4, my HK-import M3 and my TAC-12.

The one you can find?

I checked my local stores. One store has the 5 shot M4 for $1,784 and the M2 7 shot for $1,439. Another store has the M4 for $1,999 and can back order the 1301 tactical for $1098 with no ETA.

I cant see myself buying a shotgun that’s almost $2,000 if it’s only 5+1?

I have a theory that there only actually like 20 Benelli M4s.  Guys buy them to post pictures of them.  Absolutely pristine and unfired,  and then sell them for new price and new guys post pictures of them.  Pristine and unfired.

Greatest.  Shotgun.  Ever.

Meh, I'm just glad I got a 1201FP from AIM for peanuts many years back

Buy a 1301 Tactical and an SDS Tac12….. all in be about what you’d pay for a Benelli M4 and the TAC 12 is pretty damn close if not the same as the Benelli M4

I own both....

For work I use the 14" Benelli M4 with collapsable stock because it's a very compact package for shooting in and around vehicles

My 1301 is longer and serves its duty in the house

Both have been flawless... if you don't mind the full sized weapon the 1301 is half the price

All that said I prefer the Benelli

Pic is from a white paper I wrote for my Department on the advantages of semi-auto using my 18" M4 and 14" 870

The Benelli. Easy answer but mostly due to nostalgia. I really like the Beretta as well.

One thing I like more with the Benelli is the magazine tube. I prefer a full length tube vs an extension.
