I want to be able to print ASA and ABS on my X-Plus 3, which is on a desk in my home office on the main floor of my house. Mitigating particulates and VOCs is my hold up.    

I’ve started a couple of threads over the last year or so but have basically been stuck in an analysis paralysis loop the whole time.

Currently my plan is to mount a Bento Box in the printer somewhere, but there’s really not a great place to mount one. I printed the bottom duct to see how it fits in the enclosure, and the spot with the most clearance leaves the exhaust duct blowing across part of the build plate.

Granted it’s well below the extruder and active printing, but for bed adhesion, is this an issue?

Anyone have a better idea of where to park it?

I found this remix meant specifically for x-plus 3, so I think I’m gonna run with it. It pushes most of the exhaust an inch lower, and I think it will be rare that I print a part tall enough that it would even get into the exhaust, so I’ll deal with issues it creates when they arise.
