Poll fail:  no 21SF.

AIM Surplus has police trade-in 21SF for $319 right now.

It's driving me crazy

I’m genuinely curious why you would want an old Gen3 SF when all Gen4 and Gen5 are SFs and have an improved mag release?

The Gen 3s fit my hand better than the others.

I liked my 21 and 30 about equally but one could be CCW'd and the other couldn't so off it went. I've thought about ditching my G20 but best mm is over the line where I really appreciate a bigger pistol with better recoil management

The 36 was really comfortable but I couldn't shoot it to save my own life so it went to someone who could hopefully use it better

I have a gen2 G21.  Obtaining a gen3 21SF would result in more part swapability.  For example  my g21 KKM barrel or recoil spring assembly could go in either gun.

I would love to get a gen5 21 as well

I know, right?

Not as accurate as this 1911 I've now, but surprisingly accurate all the same.

Chunky lil' thing.  I had a sticky holster but it's much more a belt holster kind of gun.

I've got a 21SF I've had for years and have been very happy with it.

I looked at Glocks years ago, every time I was in a gun store for other reasons, but I just never really liked them that well, at the time.   One time, I had a little extra cash so I picked up a 21SF while I was in the store.

My first time at the range with it, I was surprised at how well I shot it.  It was accurate and worked for me. I didn't care how it looked after that.

It's my 1st and only Glock right now.

Can somebody confirm, isn't the 21sf frame about the same as a gen4+ frame with no backstraps installed.

I'm a gen4+ guy, for the bigger mag release button.  Here's my gen4 G34 (9mm) with a small backstrap compared to the gen4 41 (45acp) with no backstrap.
The gen4 large frame is only 1.2mm bigger front to back and 2.4mm bigger side to side.  Then the slide for the 41 is about the same width as the G34, too.

I was under the impression that this was the reason there was no such thing as a gen4 21sf frame.  Because starting with gen4, the default frame was already smaller like the sf, and it came with backstraps that could get it back to the default size it was through gen3.

Polymer 80 G21. I love shooting this pistol with my Blue Bullets handloads.  Thinking of getting the slide cut for an RMR.

That’s a good looking pistol. I like the P80 frames.

You are correct. All Gen4 and 5 are essentially SFs
