Only 2 guns I’ve ever disliked:  Vector Uzi; heavy ass pistol and couldn’t adjust sights far enough to the left.  Second was my first rifle, 1894 Winchester in .30-30.  Couldn’t hit a damn thing with it.  Sold ‘em both.

Two Arsenal AKs

104FR- overgassed big time, like they drilled the port for 7.62x39 instead of 5.45. Disconnector tail completely ate through the trigger guard rivet it was hitting it so hard.

Sam7R- horrible accuracy, couldn't get it zeroed at 50 yards with a 3x it was all over the fucking place

Weatherby Vangaurd 2 Outback in 30-06...

When I got the rifle I couldn't wait to shoot it.  Its the only bolt action rifle I've ever experienced that malfunctions.  The magazine follower would catch on the back of the magazine liner, hang up, and the rear of the follower would get stuck.  The rifle would hold 5 rounds, but only feed and load the first two....  And ti would do this about 7 times out of 10.  I marked the parts, so it would be easier to identify the issue.  I sent it to Paso Robles, where the customer service people gave me a complete run around.  They completely swapped out the follower and magazine parts and shipped the gun back, but insisted they did nothing to the rifle.   However the parts were all new (not the marked parts I had sent).   So, apparently, Weatherby's customer service policy is "Our gun is never at fault, it must be our idiot customers".  Fix the rifle, but tell the customer that he's an idiot...  I'm not sure what the point of the "fix it, but deny the issue" strategy is, but I absolutely love spending $1300 on a rifle that doesn't work, and then being treated like an idiot by a snarky, rude Customer Service rep

Once back, I proceeded to try to find a single load that would come close to Weatherby's MOA guarantee.  After a dozen different handholds, I tried EVERY premium load I could find.  I spent better than $400 on ammo, looking for ONE load that would shoot decently. Not a single load would come close to 2.5".  Yeah, I know, I must be a lousy shooter.  However, same range, same day, shooting a Winchester Ranger 30-30 I bought at a garage sale for $250, and equipped with a Williams 5D receiver site, and I'm getting 1.5" at 100.  My Remington Model Seven in 308 outshot that MOA Gauranteed Weatherby by a large margin....

Weatherby.  Never again.

Out of 278 guns I have owned, the only thing I can think of is a Sig Mosquito.

I kept it for about 2 years and never could get it to work through an entire magazine, despite using both springs which came with it and a variety of ammo, so I traded it back in at the dealership where I bought it.

That was over a decade ago. If I had it today I would likely attack it with a Dremel tool and do whatever it took to make it work, but back then I way had too much going on to be like that with a gun, and besides, I had other 22lr guns that actually worked like they were supposed to.

The ironic thing is I think the Mosquito was actually made by ATI and since then I have owned several other guns made by them with no issues.

Buddy of mine's wife bought one for range practice and it was just as everyone has described... utterly unreliable... I was with him one range trip and he had bright it along to try to figure out what was wrong. He brought a couple different brands of 22 and I was there with about 6 different brands. After trying everything but the Remington Thunderduds (the unplated crap) I said let's try this stuff...

Now as many of you know, most 22 ammo works best in semis when the bullet is firmly held by the case. That is not so with the Thunderduds and and the Golden crappers. Those bullets will nearly always spin in the case and can sometimes even bend out of a straight line just handling them... So we tried the Thunderduds and lo and behold, 100 percent function. Then we tried the Golden crappers, same thing, 100% function (and this was over 200 rounds fired, 100 of each type).

My thoughts on why the Remingtons might have worked is the the slight bend the happens to the round with the loose bullet in the case is that as it's fed into the chamber, the bend between the bullet and the case permits proper feeding into the chamber. I dunno, but that stuff worked in the pistol, whatever the reason was. I gave him the rest of the 500 rounds that I had that day and said to only use that brand of ammo from now on. So far, 10 years later, pistol still runs great with the Remington ammo and no other. FWIW

LARUE C Note

LOL I was thinking about getting one of these for a Ruger PC Charger take down. No provision for barrel mounted front sight, already weighs a ton so a few more pounds will not matter, more than a Magpul buis combo, what's not to like?

Ruger 10-22:  purchased for practice but so inaccurate the feedback was worthless.
