Went to a concert Friday night, didn't get to bed till 2am. Slept maybe 4 hours and decided to go stand in line for Bourbon allocations in the morning and scored. I actually had to 2 dudes sprint past me to get in line. Kinda new to the bourbon scene and didn't know how crazy people get over stuff.

| if you're new to the bourbon world my advice would be to trade that RR15 for a bunch of other really good bottles that you'll appreciate as much or more than the RR15. yes its definitely a unicorn but not to you (probably) and even if i had a chance to buy it at MSRP i would be tempted to do just what i just suggested, which i have done before with other bottles and didn't regret it. and if who you trade with are really cool they will give you a sample of it so that way you're not completely out of it. |

I'll be keeping the bottle for something special down the road or until I could somehow get another one. I've picked up quite a few "good" bottles so far in my short time of hunting so I'm good with sitting on the RR15. |

A little late for pics now….Why would I make that up? The only reason I even knew the 15 was special is because a friend of mine told me it was one of his new favorites and to grab him any bottle I could. I have two stores that I can often find good stuff at. If I time the one place right and there is nobody around, the owner will offer me stuff that others aren’t privy to. |

I cant speak for the whole state, but those areas suck for liquor. Very few places to pick from as well since you guys only seem to have dedicated state liquor stores. I have four good spots all within 10-15 minutes of my house, two of which are really good. The one regularly has things like Weller SR and 107, BT. He got tons of the fancy maker mark limited release stuff last year, etc. He even gets pappy every year. |
