Obviously the stay at home orders work, otherwise there would be sick and dead people all over the place.  Sometimes you just have to save people from themselves. Duh.

The governors are loving pushing around and subjugating the citizens, and God knows the cops have a hard on for it too. This reinforces what I always knew: when push comes to shove the cops will use and abuse any additional authority given to them. They won’t be on our side. At least, the overwhelming majority of them won’t. Any defectors will be following the lead of their superiors, not stepping out on their own. Lisa needs braces.

Another absolute waste of resources.  Even with less than 50,000 people in the entire county, I can think of all kinds of other things I would be out looking for in the way of criminal activity.  This wouldn't even make my list.  And you know where i'm coming from...

I am sure that is what all the left lane campers on the freeway are saying as well when they go 10-15mph slower than the flow of traffic.

They are likely just saving people from themselves.

Something that people on the fringes of society and those who have certain hobbies and interests have known for generations.

I'm still perplexed why the deputies handled it the way they did.  I get it, they were dispatched to the location.  From there they have a ton of options of how they handle it.  The attitude of that deputy who made the initial contact told me he wanted to stir the pot.  Even if it sounds like a lame call, yes you have to respond.  I put something like this on ultra low priority.  But for arguments sake, lets say I happen to be down the road when the call came in.  I would have approached the homeowner VERY differently and let her know in the nicest way that I was strictly responding to a call received by sheriff's department dispatch and give a friendly social distancing/stay at home yada yada is important reminder (with the wink wink nod nod... i.e. you know what I mean).  From there I would tell her to have a nice day and apologize for bothering her.  Total time spent at the residence under one minute.  I would then call in 10-8 and note it as HBO'd (handled by officer) then drive off to my next call.  Notification made and end of story.  But what do I know????

Sub 90 IQ Officers. It's such a bad combination and it impacts so many people, so severely. The male Officer was trying to stick to a script that he had been memorizing, in the patrol car, all the way over to the house.

I wouldn't have answered the door. I would have let them sit out there and steam for awhile and then watched them drive away.

My patience is wearing a little thin with this whole shitmess and I'm afraid they would have gotten the "are you fucking kidding me?" from me. Officer Billy Bob's distress over the daughter being at the neighbors would have been believable if she had just held up a liquor store. I swear I would have laughed at him.

I understand they are "just doing their jobs". As long as we can all agree that the job you are being told to do is bullshit, we can all be polite, go through the motions and move on. No hard feelings. But some of these people are just enjoying the JBT role playing a little too much.

I've always been a person who generally appreciated and respected law enforcement. Got along fine in social situations. Gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the job sucking. Figured it was just the shitheads who had problems with them. Even had the little black and white flag with the blue line sticker. I had multiple LEOs in my family, all retired or passed now.  But after some of the shit I've seen in the past year or so, I have to wonder who I have to fear more in an "official contact" or adversarial situation, the thugs or the government employees. And that's disappointing.

I have sources that report this was shot on the same sound stage as the moon landing. If you look carefully you can see the sticks shoved up those 'cops' asses, proving that they are actually animatronic puppets. If you look still more carefully at those sticks up their asses there is a line of script that reads, "these steel beams can't melt jet fuel".

good eye detective, you saw through the deception.
