I click on the login icon and it asks for email and password. I enter both correctly and it sends me to cloudfare. I check the box on cloudfare. The circle spins. I get spit back out to the homepage where I get the message "email and password" required. doesn't matter how often I try it. Same result. any suggestions? |

I had the same problem on an old iPad. I attribute it to old security protocols, but I'm no expert. The iPad worked fine until I signed out on one of my other devices, which signs you out of all devices. iPad would no longer sign in and is useless for ARFCOM. It was time for an upgrade anyway, I got my use out of it. Now I simply don't sign out of any devices. My logic may be flawed. |

I had a problem with my kindle awhile back. It wouldn't let me bring up any books to read. I could see them in my library but when I'd click on one it would tell me I didn't have authorization (or something stupid like that) to read them. I tried the on line trouble shooting stuff and nothing worked. Finally had to take the last step in the on line trouble shooting guide and reset it to the factory settings. After that it let me sign in but it no longer showed my books. I'm slowly working my way through my books and down loading a few at a time to read. It's worked fin since. About the same time the kindle program on my laptop also failed to work properly. I did not do anything on the laptop as I didn't notice anything wrong at the time. But I had to download all the books on it as well a week or so after the kindle screwed up. Amazon sells them. I just think they'd rather you buy a new one every time the one you have loses it's mind. Having to download every book again one book at a time sucks. |

It was a gift so I'll have to check the model age when I get home. It's a Kindle Fire and I believe it uses Silk for web browsing. |

Visit this website with the device and it will tell you what you are using: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/ Security protocols become depreciated (for various reasons) which will render "used to work" into "forget about it" because the device can no longer communicate with the server safely. In general, if the browser/device hasn't had updates in 5 or more years, stuff like this will happen and you just have to deal with it. |
