Anyone y’all would recommend? I need to get my carburetor lined out. There’s several EFI tuners around here but I don’t know any old school carb dudes anymore

Only TX outfit that I've had any dealings with is Frankenstein Engine Dynamics in Weatherford I've only ever bought a few items off them.

Go to a couple car shows or cruise ins and ask someone there. That's where I would start.
We have a decent club cruise in on friday nights(70-100 cars) and I'd bet I could find a dozen people to work on a carb there. |

I ran with them back in the 70s when they ran skinny cars at Big-H (circle track).
Figured old school circle track guys would still have the carb tuning skillset. Shit, I'm old. Conflating 2 different groups I know of. The above mention is actually Speed Specialties. I worked with Ray Martel at Peacock Chevrolet back in the 70s. He used to run NHRA Super Gas. |
