My kid's car (2016 Jeep Compass) had fogged over headlights. Have been seeing the commercials so I figured I would try it.
Took about 30 min and I'm pleased with the results. Step 1 is oxidation wipes to removes grime. Step 2 is wet sanding with 1000gr and 3000gr sandpaper. Step 3 is applying the coating (in a well ventilated area). Took about 30 min or so. Before:   After:

The sanding and polishing is pretty universal, what sets different products apart is how long the new coating will last and how well it protects from UV damage. I've used AvalonKing ceramic coating on our headlights before they got bad on our Jeep WK2s. On my SRT-4, I'll apply a quick ceramic detailing coating every couplethreefew weeks to keep them looking decent. Though, the plastic is showing its age, that sanding and polishing won't fix.

Yeah it depends on the kit. Some of them will only last a few months before fogging out again because they lack good uv protection.. When I was in school kids working for the local used car place would polish them with toothpaste and cover it with wax. Would look good long enough to sell it. |

Time will tell on this. Worse comes to worse I buy a different ceramic coat for it.

I've used Ceracoat's plastic trim wipes and they are amazing.

I used one on my Wife's 2013 Escape. Didn't seem to last. I guess nothing beats just buying new lenses.
