I like Edgar Sherman Design slings. I also use his paracord kit on some of my rifles.
For padded, I recently picked up a Flatline Fiber and it is a nice slim, not overly thick/bulky design. |

Wellsmade, BFG and homemade ones are my go to now. Magpul adjusters slip.

I like the Vickers padded slings and Citizen gear Co Cast Iron slings

Basic M16a2 silent sling. For me adjusted for over shoulder is also just right for position haste use.
I have some Tactical Wactical slings but never use them. |

Quoted: I've tired BFG slings in the past, too clunky, $100+. Have started buying these from a gentleman who makes them by hand. Cool thing is, aside from USA made, he has like every pattern of camo ever. It doesn't and I'm not even sure what's your point I use a variety of slings on a variety of rifles. A mix of traditional, old, and modern. I have played with jungle slings, single point, two point, three point, etc, And yes, while a rapidly adjustable two point sling wins by objective measures- There are places that do stuff like set up courses like fast rope onto here, sprint to here, climb over wall, climb onto roof, shoot, change mag, get off roof, run, shoot, crawl under stuff, get up, shoot, etc. There are times when I prefer others and typically won’t encounter many of those situations anymore. And I enjoy watching people that have mastered other types of slings at work. |

I didn’t think much about slings until I got into run a gun matches. I have had good results with the MagPul MS1 and padded VTAC. Comfortable enough for 6 miles of running, and the adjustability to snug it up so it doesn’t move around when running / climbing, and allows you to use some modified cuff techniques for more stability when you can’t brace off something.
My buddy just picked up a Ferro Concepts Slingster, and I really like it. That may be what I try next. |

Quoted: You getting paid on commission OP? Why do you keep bumping this discussion? View Quote Curiously, the slings ship out of CO, same location as OP… I ordered a few to try out compared to the BFG slings that I’ve been using for years and I just assumed that these are 1.5”, it didn’t even occur to me that they are 1.25” so now I need to buy some different QD swivels. But, they do seem to be good quality and it supports an American small business using American made components. |

OP reminds me of those athletes who stat pad.
I mean, if this thread cannot/is not organically being bumped through regular responses, then it should go away. I am not seeing any other threads where it is constantly being ttt. The OPs in those threads let the thread gracefully archive. |
