Family from Bethlehem and ending up in Nazareth. Also, the census of Quirinius occured in 6CE which is 10 years after King Herod. How can Matthew claim Herod reigned during the birth of Jesus if the census was after his death? |

Since your concerned for the census debate there is not a single list that has survived from Roman times containing the names of all the governors of syria. If some actual records get found it's probably just going to be no contradiction like similar sounding names or same guy served twice, etc. |
