Pretty fucking cool OP. I have zero artistic talent or skills but I can appreciate art when I see it. I went to Spain last year my 1st time in Europe.  I could spend the rest of my life going thru museums, churches, palaces and just old streets to oggle the art and architecture

First thing that comes to my mind is that you created electron microscope paintings of neurons. But thats only because I am a microbiologist!

Several more pours happening.  A trail of wax and feathers leading to the sun.

Then the shadows.

Are you visualizing your finished product before starting, or on the fly, or a little of both and it evolves along the way?

I have a general concept and idea, but the chaos and unexpected results of poured/thrown paint requires pivots and improvisation.  Like performing jazz, or combat operations.

One more pour (the sun and a few sun blisters), and then I’ll throw in the splash, which could be one move or maybe more.

Looking pretty good on the abstract part anyway.

The person who complains most, and is the most critical of others has the most to hide.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

This one has been an eternal struggle for attention.  The waves, the rays, the sun, the meat, the FEATHERS, the glow…

The idea was there.

The chord structure and the basic melody.

But once it started, the back and forth battle for balance began. Improvisation and accidents.

Icarus is about hubris.  BUT… it is about triumph, in spite of catastrophe.  The motherfucker flew!  For a few moments, he was a god.
