I spent good coin on a holster and a red dot sight for my Poly 80 Glock 19 clone for this event. I figured that was a good choice.
This evening some guy in GD posts about a new sight for his Python. I replied to his post, and that made the gears upstairs turn for me. Dad carried a Python—that he bought—as his service weapon when he worked for the Dallas PD. Do I buy a holster and speed loaders for the Python to use instead of the Poly 80? I realize it will likely hurt my time, but I’m more interested in a safe run; at 56 I’m lucky if I don’t place last. What say the Rockdale crew? Python or Poly? |
