They did the polling like in previous years where they gave Republicans (red line), Democrats (blue line) and Independents (yellow line) a joystick to manipulate and signal support for Trump or Harris in real time as the candidates spoke. Independents favored Trump, with the yellow line tracking close to the red line for most of the debate, and occasionally even rising higher than the red line.

I didn’t watch the video, but my personal experience is that independents are much more likely to support Trump.
I also don’t believe many people are “on the fence”. So barring a complete disaster like Biden had, a debate isn’t going to win or lose many voters. |

Trump knew what he was doing. Trump has a different message for independents than he does for his base. The message for the independents is that he’s fighting against a rigged system. The debate showed that. I know a lot of the anti-Trump faggots around here like to mock discussions of Trump‘s strategy with their 4D chess comments and all of that, But Trump knew there was no way he could shame the moderators into treating him fairly, so instead he calmly highlighted their behavior for the people he wanted to take notice of it. If you guys have been on YouTube or Facebook, you will see that the Trump campaign has chopped that entire debate Into a bunch of 30 second reels and shorts and TikTok’s, and they are blasting it out there for the independent voters who were not going to sit and watch a 90 minute debate. Most of the Republicans that I hear bitching about the debate had somehow convinced themselves that it was going to be another first round knockout like the Biden debate. You should’ve known better.
