how about minding your own business? Honestly not going to be surprised if this does end up happening and we can have a special sticker or something for our badges. They're acting like they'll drop dead from folks 'faking' to not wear the face diaper.

Guess ebay is having brisk sale of these so not a unique situation.

How about go to HR right now with your concerns about how this will cause people to be treated differently at work. Make it known that the first time you’re discriminated against for wearing/failing to wear a badge or having/not having the shot that you will sue.

The left lives the HR bullshit. Show them it goes both ways.

Email them your concerns about being discriminated against. Perhaps it is the case that you are in conversations with your pasted and may not be able to rake the vaccine because of a deeply held religious belief. Note that you fear this badge will cause anyone with such a belief to be discriminated against. Use your work email to send it, but forward all responses to a personal email. Assuming that this isn’t a secure facility or something.

Here is the email I came in to at work tonight:

Hello All,
As most of you are aware, CDC announced last week:
Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
SS will continue to follow the CDC guidelines, therefore our mask policy guideline has changed to the following:
SS is not requiring employees to be vaccinated
To continue to ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, and on-site contractors, and follow the CDC Guidelines, proof of vaccination is required to forgo the facility mask requirement.
SS continues to welcome the use of face masks and will continue to provide them to all employees, visitors, and on-site contractors.

Employee responsibility if vaccinated:
The 2-week waiting period following your final COVID-19 vaccination shot must be completed to forgo the Fellow Gun Mfgr facility mask requirement.
Please provide verification of a full cycle of the COVID-19 vaccine, in the form of your CDC Vaccination card, to ######, HR Business Partner.
Upon verification you will receive an endorsement sticker that must be visible to security upon entry to a SS facility to forgo the facility mask requirement. (The endorsement stickers should arrive by Wednesday, May 19th or Thursday, May 20th)
If you do not have the endorsement sticker visible, or available upon entry, you will be required to wear a mask while on-site at the SS facility.

IF you do not wear a mask and have not provided the proper verification in accordance with the revised face mask policy this will result in disciplinary action, up to, and including termination.

yeah, but OSHA says if they require you to get the vax and you have complications it's work related, and reportable. So even halfwit management will be unwilling to take that risk. So if they can't require it, and they're using coercive techniques to "require" it, they're opening themselves up for lawsuit hell.

Smallpox is extinct. It can only be carried by humans. No other vector exists.

The vaccine was 95% effective or about the same as the covid vaccines. This is contrary to the claims often presented here that the vaccine was 100% and any less means it isn't a vaccine.

Vaccination and quarantine during outbreaks were extremely effective in stopping smallpox and it was wiped out worldwide in the late 70's.

Routine smallpox vaccination in the US stopped in 1972, because the disease was extinct in the US.

Our immune systems are ready to fight the virus and kill it. That's why we don't get sick.
