If I have all the dimensions is there anyone here who can machine a cylinder type handcuff key?

Yes, but not anywhere near the price where you could get one on-line for.  For me to do it, it would cost about three to four times as much.

I can't find one online. Interested in doing a few for me? Ide pay to have 10-15 made.

Just curious what’s it for?
If it’s bigger than a Handcuff key but similar, what about a “p” key? It’s like an handcuff key but four times larger.

They're not. There's 13 different type keys. The ones on fleabay  type N. I need type R which has additional cut.

I would think so for someone with the tools and skills but so far haven't found anyone to create a few.

Buy the pre-made ones and have someone add that cut?
It will probably be cheaper than having them 100% hand made.

I could make them pretty easily if you have an existing sample to take dimensions off of. Not familiar with how that lock mechanism works, so hard to say how important depths are. Do those pins just block the wrong key from entering and actuating the lock? Or do they actually function as tumbler pins?

I have a blue print with all the dimensions on it.

Buy the Type N, then you just need one additional cut. Much easier than starting from scratch.

I have the N type, how do you suggest I machine the additional cutout in the correct place and size without damaging the opposite side? A freehanded dremal?

If you only need a couple then I would just use the opposite side and a right angle to mark out the edges of the new cut, and mark the depth needed.  Then mount the dremel and hold the key to cut the two ends and get most of the material between out.  Then use the side of a file to clean up the bottom and bring it to the line.  But more than 3 like that would really suck.

"D" might be an easier starting point.  You'd only need to mark out the edges straight across the end of the key from the existing notch.

I'd have no idea how to quote a price but I have some ideas.  If I read this right:

- You have a narrow long cut that is the 'index'.
- You have 4 possible shallow tumbler cuts that are 90* apart and rotated 45* off the index.

I'm wondering if I could 3D print a jig to index several at a time and make all the tumbler cuts in all 5 to 7 at once.  Looks like a 1/8" endmill would do it if the end of the N key were held facing up.  Is it a pressing need you have?  I hesitate because I always find it's minimum wage work by the time you get done creating the jigs and setting up the program but it does look like it could be done but with a separate slot cut path at each key's index point.
