I want to move 6:00 am to where 8:00 am is now. And move 7:00 pm to where 6:00 pm is now.

And leave it.

Because we would have sunlight the entire day.

Yep, where I live we get about 9.5 hours of daylight per day in December. Most of the day is going to be dark no matter how the clock is arranged.

The only dumb as fuck thing I see here is not realizing that putting back clocks an hour is putting it back to standard time, the time humanity has used for centuries, before selfishness took over and we decided we could just shift the clock around so boomers losing nighttime vision acuity could stay out playing golf for longer.

Standard time is natural, but I prefer the 'extra' hour of light in the afternoon, it's depressing as heck for it to be dark at 5:00 PM.

I've said it before, split the difference. Move standard time up a half hour, and make it permanent.

DST is fucking moronic, and perma noon at 1pm DST is doubly so.

Switch to standard time and leave it the fuck alone. We already did perma DST once and it went from 90% approval to 20% after the first winter.

I collect automatic watches. I can't stand that they are off by 1 hour twice per year!!! I have the need to make all my watches show the correct (DST) time so I spend a lot of time messing with my timepieces.
