I would have thought the Ezra Thrawn team up against the new galaxy was going to be what we saw. Kind of disappointed they took the easy way out on that one. I will be interested to see how Ezra has progressed in his use of the force. Five years of nothing to do but practice... and think about Sabine's fine ass coming to save him. Poor turtle tribe could never go into his hut. "Dont come in here... I'm - I'm uh, using the force. Yeah that's it!"

Some of guys are just never satisfied. Enjoy it for what it is.
Remember, Thrawn had to show up in his ship. He could have been on the other side of the planet. Ezra could have been closer to the temple/tower. To keep watch, hence him being within a day's ride. |

I'm surprised no one has commented yet (unless I missed it) about how Thrawn's ship appears to be missing large sections of it's hull, as if they have been cannibalizing it for parts. The left and center large engines are also missing.
Kind of a cool detail, since they have been cut off from support and resupply for a while now. |

Really enjoyed the dialogue between Baylan and Shin at that Stonehenge-esque temple, how the Republic constantly rises and falls at the hands of the rebels over and over and over again. I'm glad someone finally addressed that bit of lore.
I'm still not buying Sabine's alleged connection to the Force. If she's a Jedi, she fucking sucks at it and should just quit. Hell she ain't even a convincing Mandalorian at this point. I'm not even entirely convinced she's all that clever. All she can think about is Ezra; her judgement is completely clouded and his big reveal was somewhat of a letdown. She comes off more as an impetuous kid more than some exalted rebel general hardened by constant battle. I get that from Ahsoka and certainly from Thrawn, but not from Sabine. Her character remains quite lame TBH. Thrawn seems deeply clever and very calculating. I wonder how Ezra's gonna take it when he learns the only way they're getting off this planet is by hitchhiking on Thrawn's battle-cruiser. Little do they know they're gonna hafta fight their way thru Baylan and Shin, which I do not believe they're even remotely capable of from what I've seen. |

Is Ashoka going to be worth watching if I hate almost everything Disney Star Wars?
I’ve been a very long time SW fan, I think I have 56 of the original Expanded Universe books. That being said, the sequel trilogy was flaming dog shit, absolutely unwatchable and disrespectful filth. The only Disney+ series I’ve seen is Obi-Wan, which was pretty mediocre. Is this series decent, or just more Kathleen Kennedy garbage? |

I guess because we know the backstory and the characters would be revealed I found this episode to be a filler.
The dog thing was cool and it acted much like my doodle. Kind of a goof but smart Sabine found here way with a light sabre which was cool. |
