Do tier 1 dogs train with hearing protection? Just curious.

Why would anyone tear a dog? That’s mean.

I think they wear doggles to avoid tears.

Tier one have hearing protection, tier two only have doggles.

Could have been an interesting thread, but you ruined it with your non spelling, OP.

Did you know that Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo is actually "No more tears"...as in torn hair?  Most people think tears as in crying...that is what I always thought.

Fake news.

“The ‘no more tears’ means the product won't sting if gotten in a baby's eyes,” Trisha Bonner, Manager of Research & Development at Johnson & Johnson, tells us."

I don't know what 'tier' my dog is.
But when we are at the range she wears her 'Mutt Muffs'.

That’s really cool. Wonder if it has some kind of bypass so the dog can still hear commands.

Any earpro on dogs just looks ridiculous. This is all I ever see....

Last time I want camping, I was shooting my 308 all pronned out and when I was done, I realized that my GSD and come and laid down beside me.   Shortly after that, I noticed that he was completely deaf. Luckily, his hearing came back after a couple of days.

So, I'd say that dogs that work around gunfire, should definitely wear some type of ear protection.

Yep,
Out in the field hunting where shots are usually fired rarely I don't worry about hearing protection on my dog.
But when at the range when shots are ringing out every few seconds I don't subject my dogs' ears to the damaging noise any more than I do mine.

Blinged doggles are more important.

We had dogs from the Air Force come to our range some days. They were being deployed and needed to get used to the gunfire.
None of them wore protection, this was about ten years ago.

No they don’t.  The handlers are starting to use quieter guns because of this

In the documentary Shooter, dudes shooting stew cans with a .50 and the muzzle is about 2ft away from his dog.dog never flinched at the shot and still obeyed commands after so they must not require hearing protection.

This is the most stupid excuse I've seen lately. If OP is smart, he is lying about the driving part. If OP is telling the truth, he's amazingly stupid for surfing and posting  while driving.

OP loses either way.

And, yes, this corrected thread topic is a really interesting question. OP wins on that.

I was in a fucking Kroger parking lot heading to the road and thought of it, hit new topic and started speaking. If I was 'surfing' I'd of noticed the typo before I got back to my place 30 minutes later. Sheesh.

Yes, and the lawyers will probably sue 3M on their behalf soon.
