Going through some old pics I came across this from my father in Egypt during WWII. He’s the one dressed as Hitler.

Him in is regular uniform. They all looked like Clark Gable back then.

That is a rare fat body in that photo.

Gramps jumping off a boat naked. Ended up in a history book about some Pacific battles and he laughed about it all the time. He said of all the things he got to do and what they did on his boats, the only photo that has shown up was him swimming naked.

My maternal uncle was in the Pacific. I have a pic of him I have to dig out. Until then one of my mother standing beside on of their brewery trucks. Obviously cropped to eliminate names. Attachment Attached File

There’s a little photo album of my grandfather, WW2.  Tucked in the back is a loose picture of two soldiers standing by a pile of bodies.

Guess it didn’t really fit with the rest of the album

My Grandfather was a training pilot in WWII.  I have his collection of pictures he took with his students around the T-6 Texan they trained on, there must be fifty of them.  I keep meaning to scan them and try to find decedents of the pilots.
