Wait....
Boomer and Veteran??? That's got to be good for what 20%? 25%? And the ultimate trifecta... Boomer / Veteran / POC = 50% discount! |
|
OP
take your wife out - Date Night ! ……aka walk around costco or sams and nibble on all the free food samples |
|
If a discount is offered or advertised, I will accept it. I don't lower my dignity by going around looking for discounts: senior, veteran, or other.
A friend is the cheapest mofo I have ever met. I went out to dinner with him once. I was concerned that he would be so cheap he'd make up some excuse for shorting the waitress on her tip. He didn't do that, but he did embarrass the hell out of me by asking, as soon as we were seated, if there was a veteran discount. |

Quoted: I've asked the same thing for decades. In my 20s i was driving a $150 car, eating nothing but ramin, Spam and beans while working evenings at a truck stop to put myself through school. I really could have used a "Junior's discount". Before that, in HS, i worked two summers at an Italian place. All the old fuckers would roll up in the new Caddy they bought, bitch about their food and leave "two bits" for a tip. Two bits was big money back when they graduated in 1923. I'm a senior now and say fuck a senior's discount. View Quote |

Quoted: Seriously? In the 80s we had 15% inflation and 20% interest thanks to Jimmy Carter. Jobs were hard to come by. Half of you guys are still living with mommy and daddy and don't even try to work the millions of jobs going begging. Seems pretty whiney. And mistaken. Envy is chicken shit and wishing bad on your elders is evil. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Flushed with the most opportunities for easy wealth in the entire history of the planet and still feel entitled to cheaper stuff because they haven't died yet. Seriously? In the 80s we had 15% inflation and 20% interest thanks to Jimmy Carter. Jobs were hard to come by. Half of you guys are still living with mommy and daddy and don't even try to work the millions of jobs going begging. Seems pretty whiney. And mistaken. Envy is chicken shit and wishing bad on your elders is evil. You’ve got me confused with someone else, because nothing you said applies to me. I’m sorry you had to suffer through a short period of inflation and that, in the majority of your life, you lived in the most prosperous time in the most prosperous place, being raised by the most prosperous generation, in the history of the modern world. Me and my family are having enough success to be mildly prosperous during this shitshow. If you worked half as hard as I did when you were my age, you’d be drowning in prosperity. But you didn’t and are still too busy stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. |

Quoted: Young, naive punks with apparently poor upbringing should learn some manners and respect. I was brought up to respect my elders. Think about what a dumbfuck you were 10 or 20 years ago, compared to what a world-burning successful wizard you are now. In 10 or 20 years from now, you "may" have matured and learned enough to see what a dumbfuck you were back 10-20 years ago. Repeat every 10 years. View Quote But apparently not enough to have enough money so you don't have to beg for handouts. |

How many people busting the OP's balls would be the first one to pitch a fit about not getting their 10% military discount at lowe's?

Here are the instructions on how to get the "Elderly Free Membership" discount:
- Find out who the moderators are - Take 3 pictures of the following: -- One shot of you standing naked and flaccid -- Second shot of you standing while rock hard -- Third shot of your driver's license or ID showing your age and home address - Emailing those pictures to all of the moderators - Result is a free AR15.com account for life!!! |

The whole point of a senior discount is to get old people in the door during pre-dinner hours. You're not getting a thank you just for being old, it's to benefit businesses during low activity business hours, typically in the restaurant industry. This thread is a complete embarassment and the flowing boomer memes are well warranted.

Quoted: And now it your turn to pay...suck it up. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: If you get SS you should buy me a bronze since I fund your check at gunpoint. Really? Don't you think we've paid into SS for 40 or more years? It's a ponzi scheme and when the music stops you might not get a chair. I'm drawing as soon as I can get what has been stolen from me for over 40 years. Your money is gone. Get over it. And now it your turn to pay...suck it up. Old people are worthless and just need to do the Ättestupa. |

We all pay full price here, Arf does not discriminate based on age
|
|
OP, why don't you just pull yourself up by the bootstraps, get a job and pay for your own memebership? The millenials had to walk through the internet uphill, both ways, in the snow to buy a memebrship. While stuffing down all the avocado toast they could because who knows when they might see more avocado toast during the great avocado toast rationing. While you just want everything handed to you.

Boomers can take $26 out of their SS payments for membership as far as I care.

'Member when we didn't get charged for a "membership", and revenue generating ads weren't plastered all over the entire fucking page? Pepperidge Farm remembers...

I wish there was a limited access boomer board for the boomers to gather to talk about their gout, bitch about SS COL increases, and complain about how slow the mail is running or whatever other nonsense they typically discuss.
It would make GD much more valuable. |

You already get a discount in life by living off of me and the current wage slaves.

What I just want to know if it can be stacked with the vet discount. 10% for the vet discount and another 10% for over 60 yo.

Quoted: Really? Minnesota is taking shots at Oklahoma? You know what turmoil and complete retardation you have caused in the billions of dollars in the last few years. And thanks for helping put potato in the white house. View Quote @64tinc It has nothing to do with your state.
