IIRC, Frye used to visit him fairly regularly, and may still do so. In Frye's own words: "Takayama-san, God gave me the greatest opponent anybody could ever ask for, you." |

There's a clip of him trying to get a ref to stop a fight because it was obvious he was going to beat the shit out of the guy. The ref didn't stop it, so he kept beating on him and going "You need to stop this" or something like that. |

My Dad and I watched all the early UFC fights. Always remember Fry as a monster. What a heart that guy had. Severn was a hell of a grappler when he started. When he learned that he could punch, kick, elbow and head butt, he was unstoppable for a bit. Coleman was a big boy. Another great grappler. Thanks for the video OP. |
