I can tell y'all from personal experience that companies will not always fire the least productive first. Ive seen them fire the ones with less seniority first. And some were top producers.

Kathy Griffin posing as Donald Trump with a blue (or white) checkmark by the name is all sorts of wrong. I was originally surprised this hadn't been brought up before, but it was probably considered a feature for old Twitter's preferred clientele to take advantage of. |

For real, it works. Lol, no. None of that, I mean not a damn thing in that entire post is about being good at your job or being big on production, that’s just BS to LOOK like you’re working. It’s always the laziest fuckwads that pull that shit to make the boss think they’re working when they’re actually half-useless, if not entirely useless. It’s the same shit as the retarded middle managers that demand everyone be in the office when everything can be done remotely, with better efficiency and less interference/interruptions. |

That matches my experience, as well. The guys who get there early usually leave early to make up for it, unless they're after the overtime pay. They can spend all morning BSing, drinking coffee, and eating breakfast (anything but work, basically), but just because they were there "working" before the boss showed up, they're deemed "hard workers". Meanwhile, the person who stays late often gets no recognition at all, because the boss always leaves on time and never sees how late they actually stay, or how much work they get done in the quiet hours after everyone else has gone home. In my personal experience, it's easier to get more done after hours compared to coming in early, as the early people seem more focused on that first cup of coffee rather than actually working. We had an employee that started at 9:00 every day, but the manager started at 7:00 and always considered them a slacker for starting late. What the manager didn't see were the constant 10-12 hour days being put in each and every day. When they retired, it took three people to replace the amount of work this one "slacker" was doing every evening. Showing up early is not a good indicator that a person is a productive worker, nor is starting later an indicator that they aren't being as productive. It's quite the opposite really, in my personal experience. As I said earlier, Musk likely knows who the real workers are, as evidenced by their actual productivity, rather than being swayed by who clocks in the earliest every day. Considering he's been known to sleep in the factory from time to time, he'll probably have a good idea of who leaves early and who stays late before too long. |
