Hi.

I got a neutral feedback from a trader because I did not accept his wanting of paypal G&S payment method.  He said it was due to my low rating, he should be able to pay G&S.

If that's the case, could I go about giving every trader that has less rating than me that only wants no buyer protected payment methods?  Or was the trader that left that message and feedback being a db?

Just asked a user with 2 rating if I could pay by G&S for a $300+ items and he wants venmo only, and had me thinking.

I may not have much rating here, but on reddit gafs, I am Master Trader rated.

You could have accepted g&s if he was willing to cover the fee. Neutral feedback just for that seems a little rough though.

Why does nobody ask these question in the EE where they belong and there are SMEs and mods to assist?

Sorry i could not find it, as I couldn't find where I placed this post after I made it until now.  Mobile site mode makes searching harder than desktop mode it seems.  Thanks FDC for providing that link.

So you have 9 posts here... but use the equipment exchange

And you sold something, but didn't want the buyer to be able to have the protection of normal paypal?

First.. if its your ad, and you spelled out the terms, then he can abide by them or kick rocks.

But... flip side..  you dont think its suspicious for someone with no real track record on the forum, to just show up and use the exchange feature that ask for payment methods that dont protect the buyer?

I know I’m lucky, but so far I’ve had solid experiences on the EE. The first time before I had feedback, someone obviously took a chance with me. I assume that as a buyer if I want the item I will confirm to whatever specifications the seller states in the ad. I would expect the same of a buyer if I am the seller.

Neutral feedback for that is a stretch to me.

Maybe you should go back to reddit as its appearent you have no interest in contributing to the community here other than using the ee.

There really should have been no neutral rating or any other one left actually.

Did the transaction actually go thru or was this one that didn't have a meeting of the minds?

Very low post, reasonably short time here, and a couple buy/sells do make people ''iffy'' sometimes but if it did go thru and went smoothly, then a neutral rating is BS.
