It looks like it's all hands on deck with many of Obama's former Administration, working with the Kamala Harris campaign.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the likely Democratic nominee, has begun vetting potential running mates as she faces a tight deadline before a virtual roll call to complete the party’s ticket.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder has been tapped to lead the vetting process, according to a person familiar with the process.

IMO they're going with Mark Kelly.

He brings a level of gravitas to the ticket that Harris lacks, he's a folk hero on their hot button topics like gun control, pretends to be centrist on others like immigration and abortion, and has the been there done that factor to match JD Vance.

They also think they can keep his seat, based on their internal polls, so little risk in the Senate or in the state houses.

Personally, I think he's their best matchup to counter Trump/Vance.
